Last Beach Trip // FALL 2023

 Hello world! I'm still alive.*winks*

My family from Idaho has been visiting the last few weeks and it's been crazy busy! Family time is always the best and I love having the house buzzing. Plus my older sister Emily is dating now so lots of change around here.

To start off this post I'll bring you up to date from a few months back. Ever since I was little my parents have taken all of us to the beach for a vacation in the Fall. We like to go during the off season to avoid the people, Lol. But we're usually blessed with beautiful weather for the time of year and this last trip was no exception.

We loaded up the van and headed out. We were actually staying near a different beach than usual so that was fun.

And we arrived at the VRBO house. My arm got so soar from playing air hockey. 😂

The very first night there we walked to the beach to watch the sunset. Watching the sunset over the ocean is always a lot of fun and for me it brings back a lot of memories.

The next morning we went to see some tide pools.

This Great Blue Heron landed only about twenty feet away from us!

Wildflowers. 😍

Look at that view!

Making s'mores on the beach!

So beautiful 😍

It was high tide so some of the waves were crashing against the rocks and shooting spray high into the air. But I didn't get any good pictures of it. It was so beautiful! I love this picture because I caught the birds flying over, Lol.

It was pretty breezy.

Home again! A day in town with Emily.

Tried on hats just for fun. 😂

Went to our local frozen yogurt place. So good!

And I became a godmother. Still can't believe my best friend has a perfect little baby girl. Nancy Rose is so precious.

We got a huge fat carrot from our garden! It was bigger than an apple.

Weather got chilly. Time for those cozy warm drinks!

Reading my cousin's latest book when it first came out. The best feeling ever.

Baking maple cookies. So delicious.

Cousins from Idaho came to visit! It was wonderful to see Mikayla while she was here.

Going for a walk in the woods with this young man. He's growing up on me.

Us ladies went walking at a park.

Liberty and I went out to coffee afterwards and then I went to her house.

Nancy Rose!

Liberty and I tried our hand at making sweet and sour chicken for supper. It was so good!

Thanksgiving!

And here we are now, it's Christmas time again. Christmas is one of my favorite times of year. I love the tree and the food and gift shopping. I love the cold weather and I love snow. But most of all I love that we have a special celebration to remember the coming of our Lord and King. Christmas should always remind us of God's love.

"The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined." Isaiah 9:2

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
Isaiah 9:6

Keep living each day for Jesus. He has you in the palm of His hand.

Until next time,
Damara Nancy
