This is my little corner of the world where I share my life, my dreams, and my faith.
Raised on twenty acres in the Pacific North West, I'm a Christian homeschool graduate who loves the country, reading, writing, and books! My family taught me to love the mountains, the ocean, America, music, history, and good old fashion fun, but more than any of that my Heavenly Father. I come from a family rich with a legacy in music and faith and I love them both so much.
I'm an intervert who needs lots of time to warm up to someone but once I do you're my friend for life. I hate crowds and feel the need to escape every time I'm in one. I have few friends but the ones I have I know I can always count on. There are only a few people who are close to me who actually get to see my silly side.
My blog title couldn't be more fitting because I have a deep love of stories. I'm a bookworm and an amateur writer who finds great joy in creating my own plots and characters. I've been working on a writing project for the last five years.
I love the outdoors and animals. I have always especially loved dogs even when I was little. I raised two different dogs from puppyhood, spending hours with them and training them but lost both through death.
I come from a large family of fourteen. There's ten of us kids. Seven boys, three girls and now two sister-in-laws. And my parents too of course. I'm right in the middle of the family and enjoy several older siblings and younger siblings. I love them all so much! I also have a large extended family with tons and tons of cousins!
My joy comes from Jesus Christ, the Lord of my life who washed all my sins away. I'm a beggar of God's grace and rejoice in the freedom in Christ. I live in Christ day by day and lean on Him.
My more petty loves are things like chocolate, hymns, ice cream, watermelon, camping, the mountains, the ocean, spring sunshine, puppies, writing, reading, song birds, wildflowers, homegrown food, kids, jean jackets, cowgirl boots, road trips, sweaters, country music, coffee, hard candy, stargazing, late night talks, rain, lemon drops, gospel music...and much, much more!
Here on my blog I hope to share a bit of all of this. My biggest dreams and failures, my life, my writings, and my walk with Christ.
Join me as I discover what God has in store for this country girl. I look forward to sharing it with you and finding out just what God has planned for me!
