(taken somewhere in Montana)
Hello again! I never seem to get on here except to update you all on another trip, lol. This trip was for my oldest brother's wedding. I was so happy for Colten and Jenae and so excited to see them become one before God and many witnesses. First though, I drove out this time with some siblings instead of flying. I always wanted to roadtrip across the country and I got my wish.
The first day we headed out. I was excited. The scenery was beautiful and the weather was perfect.
That first day I rode up with just my big brother, Kenyon, and I. We would meet Dustin and Abby (my brother and sister-in-law) in Idaho. My brothers had to work a few days in Idaho before we could head out for New Hampshire and I would stay with our Aunt and Uncle and visit our cousins.
The sun going down behind us as we rolled the miles away and listened to country music. Kenyon is the closest sibling to my age and growing up we did a lot together. Since he now lives in Idaho it was a treat to ride up with him.
Kenyon gave me a choice of the fast food restaurants around when we stopped for supper. I chose Taco Bell.
We made it to Idaho and I got settled in for the next few days at my Aunt and Uncle's house. This is the view from their kitchen window.
Their adorable puppy who I fell in love with immediately.
I made myself breakfast. Growing up, I visited my Aunt and Uncle quite a bit and their house is a home away from home.
Kylie and Mikayla (my awesome cousins and friends) decided to take me to Hobby Lobby. Kylie drove.
Guess where we went to eat for supper again? Taco Bell. Lol, yeah we're pretty boring and pretty weird.
Kylie plays piano beautifully, I could sit and listen to her for hours.
We went for a walk.
And climbed into a tree stand in the woods.
The view from the tree stand.
Idaho's rugged beauty.
Kylie and I. She's one of my very best friends in all the world. So thankful for you, girl.
Fooood. So good. The bean dip and the guacamole was AMAZING.
My short trip in Idaho was over! The guys were done working and ready to head out! New Hampshire here we come! I was excited for the roadtrip to begin.
My siblings and I ready to head out. Abby propped up her phone and we got this self-portrait right before we hit the road.
On the road, headed East.
Montana.
We stopped at Cabela's in Montana because we had extra time and Kenyon needed a belt for Colten and Jenae's wedding. He was best man.
We had leftover cold pizza for supper that night. It was good though and I was hungry.
We drove through the night and I awoke to the first morning light in South Dakota.
We stopped in Sioux Falls South Dakota to stretch our legs and eat lunch.
We checked out the falls and they were partially frozen. And no wonder! It was 8 degrees.
The waterfall was beautiful as water sprayed around ice cascading down the rocks; water frozen in time.
I had never been to Scheels before so we had to stop.
That night we stayed at a house in Nebraska. We spent the evening playing Phase Ten and laughing at old family stories.
Back on the road.
Reading was a great way to pass the hours.
We made it! That first night in New Hampshire with my family we all gathered at the Air B&B house my parents got for the trip (the rest of my family flew out) and ate ice cream and talked. We were all excited about the coming wedding.
We had a few days before the wedding to hang out with family and friends and have fun.
Ice skating!
We had a blast on the ice.
The last night out! There was twenty-two girls! I met a lot of new people and had a lot of fun.
Getting the church ready for the big day! I went early on rehearsal day to help decorate the church.
Colten and Jenae hanging out before rehearsal.
Rehearsal!
Colten and Jenae! <3
The church was ready for the big day...
The next morning! We got up and got ready for the wedding.
I was dressed and ready early so I had to wait for the time to leave for the church.
I tried to get this little guy to smile for the camera (my youngest brother) but he wouldn't. I guess your oldest brother getting married is serious business.
At the church waiting for the wedding to start.
Dad and brothers pictures.
The wedding started. Colten at the front of the church, waiting for his bride.
The wedding was beautiful. I am so very happy for them.
Jenae surprised Colten by singing "Battle Hymn of Love" to him. It was such a sweet and beautiful moment.

That night I was extremely tired but happy. I was ready to go to bed.
Emily and I got together with a large group of young people from our church and went sightseeing in Boston.
Rode on a public train for the first time in my life.
I had to get a picture with my boot on the freedom trail.
The U. S. S. Constitution. It was closed though so sadly we couldn't go on board.
The big city was a little overwhelming for this country girl. But it was fun.
We got food at Quincy Market. It was soooo good and I was starving.
Quincy Market's domed ceiling.
Emily with Boston Harbor behind her.
Boston Harbor. I was excited to be there.
Emily and I in a movie theater at the Science Museum in Boston. It was the kind with a domed screen so it was pretty cool.
And flying home! It was a blessed trip but I was so ready to get on home where I belonged. I'd been gone eighteen days and the homebody that I am, I was more than ready to be home. When the plane touched down back on the West Coast, I was a very happy girl.
Keep on singing, God loves you. Jesus cares for you.
